Building on the success of Gilbert Oil Company, Gilbert Chevrolet opened its doors in 1933 and brought with it our Gilbert Pre-Owned department and the Gilbert Collision Center. Gilbert Ford is the newest member of the Gilbert Family of Companies. There may be a new name, but the Ford dealership taken over, Okeechobee Motor Company, was one of the first in Florida, The dealership had a complete remodel immediately after the purchase and now offers new and used Ford vehicles to Okeechobee, Port St. Lucie, Belle Glade, Sebring, West Palm Beach, and the surrounding areas.
